oh sweet mbaby – Review + Giveaway

I have to admit… as far as baby #3 is concerned. I’m in denial. Yes, I’m 30 weeks pregnant. Yes, he’s kicking like a little soccer player in my belly as we speak. But no, I still cannot fathom what my family is going to be like with three children. Wild?  That’s probably a good guess!

There is no nursery, yet. There is no car that can fit all three children, yet. And there is no infant car seat, yet, which is the only thing actually required to have when you take baby home from the hospital. Those things will come… soon… I have my reasons for delaying the inevitable. I’m just not ready yet. Hey, I’ve got ten weeks, right?

We’re starting small. Shall we call them baby steps? Notice what I did there? Yeah, I’m patting myself on the back.

But to the point, I’ve started with the basics – going through what I already have, making a list of things I need, and getting some of the fun baby things like diaper bags and baby clothes. I was ecstatic when I snagged a designer diaper bag on zulily and readily accepted the opportunity to review mbaby, an apparel collection from Munchkin.

I am soooo in love with the fresh designs and thoughtfulness behind each of the pieces sent to me. If I wasn’t already pregnant, just opening the package and discovering these sweet mbaby onesters and sleepsters would make me want to have a baby.

I know, I know… it won’t stay white forever, but this Onester sure is sparkly and clean now! Oooh, and organic too. I love that the mbaby line features a Double Layer Front – I’ve always worried that babies get cold at night with their tummies only covered by one layer of fabric, and since you can’t put a blanket in the crib…. Well, I just think that the extra fabric layer on the mbaby clothing line is such a nice design. The back doesn’t get overheated and the belly is kept nice and cozy.

The classic Sailor Polo Onester is so cute, if I do say so myself.  The gingham print on the inside is so precious!   Another cool feature of the mbaby line? The middle snap is brass, so tired parents don’t mis-align the buttons when diaper-changing. I know it sounds like a small thing, but it’s amazing what sets you off when you’re operating on little sleep!

The whole product line is adorable, but I do think the Auqua Pinstripe Sleepster is my favorite. The elbow patches? Perfection. The Sleepster pajama foot also rolls up and converts to “pants” so I can be extra lazy! Daytime to bedtime (or vice versa), as long as there are no blowouts. A new mom can dream!

Have I made you jealous? Don’t worry. We’re giving away a $25 store credit to mbaby! Simply enter in the app below and we’ll announce the winner on June 16th!  Oh, and I’m also taking car and car seat recommenations if you’ve got ’em!

{I was given product to facilitate my review and store credit to use as a giveaway, but as always, all opinions are my own.}
