Don’t let your hungry monsters (kids) take you down! Load up on Pinspiration for your very own “snackation! with some amazing snack recipes.
As someone who pretty much lives to eat, the times between meals can be a bit of a bummer. I mean, who can wait ALL afternoon until dinner? Plus, don’t they say you’re supposed to eat small “meals” throughout the day? Well, I’m saying yes. Yes to snacks!
I simply can not get through my afternoons without a treat, and usually it’s on the healthy side. My kids can’t either.
Try and keep them out of the pantry after school and you’re going down. I should have thought that before having three kids. The adult vs. kid ratio in my house is leaning in the wrong direction.
So I purchase snacks, and my pantry is filled with them. Sometimes I make up my own snack recipes when I feel inspired and sometimes I send the kids to the “snack station” in my pantry when I can’t hold them off any longer. Most always, I grab my snacks on my shopping trips at Walmart. So many choices, so many possibilities, and great prices on everything.
With school now in full swing, it’s time to be prepared for the little monsters as they come off the bus! Stay tuned for my post next week with a super fun fall activity and snack recipe that everyone will get excited about: a fall scavenger hunt with an adorable printable and the most amazing snack featuring peanut butter, jelly and …. chocolate!
