This post is brought to you in partnership with REAL® Seal. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m participating in REAL® SEAL’s Virtual Cookie Swap Party. Each day, REAL® Seal will showcase a different yummy recipe on their Facebook page.
Holiday treats are made super simple with this no bake oreo truffle recipe! Perfect for neighbors, teachers, and that cookie exchange party!
What was I thinking? Sure, in the beginning of the year signing to bring in 4 dozen cookies for the holiday staff cookie exchange at my son’s school seemed like a good idea. But when I realized last night that they were needed today, I panicked. Oops. Probably shoulda added that one to the calendar.
We all have those moments, where good intentions come back to bite you. But instead of fold in the towel, as moms, we rise to the occasion.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it before. I’m no baker. But, I’m fairly good at working around this handicap.
I was able to whip up 4 dozen of these guys in under an hour. Phew. Wanna rock out your cookie swap? Here’s how it’s done.
For every two dozen cookies you need, grab one container of OREO cookies and one 8 oz. package of cream cheese. Look for the REAL Seal when purchasing your cream cheese.
Pulse these ingredients together in a food processor, then scoop out into balls. Roll them until smooth, place on parchment paper and freeze for about 30 minutes.
Next up, for each two dozen OREO balls, melt one package of chocolate (or white chocolate) chips per package directions. Stir until smooth, then coat each oreo ball in chocolate. Just use your fingers and get a little dirty. Nothing you can’t lick off!
I used chocolate chips for the chocolate OREOs and white chocolate chips for the golden OREOs.
Be sure to sprinkle them with candies when they’re still warm!
Serve with a big ol’ glass of milk and you’ll be set!
