Aside from the car seat (we love our Chicco KeyFit 30), these have been my Top 5 Favorite, Most Useful Baby items for the first year:
2. Primo EuroBath. It’s perfect for infants through 18 months… in theory. My son started to try to climb out of it at 8 months, so he’s just in the regular bath tub now. I have a friend whose daughter used this tub until she was almost two. This bathtub is great for babies who have outgrown the sink but can’t sit up on their own yet. You could skip the sink tubs entirely and just get this one. Click here to purchase.
3. Joovy Nook High Chair. It’s lightweight, collapses easily for storage, and it’s not an eye sore. If I had it to do over, I would get the black one because the food stains would be less obvious. Some colors of this chair are less expensive than others! Click here to purchase.
4. Bright Starts Comfort and Harmony Portable Swing. Another must-have item that is also lightweight and portable. The seat and songs are cute too… and not annoying.
5. Infantino Vintage Twist and Fold Activity Gym. There is a short window of time (2 months?) that a baby will enjoy an activity mat, so don’t waste your money. The baby has to be old enough to notice something hanging above his head, but young enough to not be able to roll away from his parking spot. Some Activity Gyms retail for $70 or more, but baby will not miss the added features, like lights or kick-started tunes. And again, this product is lightweight and very portable. Folds away easily for storage too.
