6:11 am – Let us announce it to the world. My baby and I both slept through the night. I feel so normal. Wait… I need to feed that thing immediately.
6:45 am – Major bummer. Totally awake and can’t go running this morning. Must remember to lay guilt trip on husband for going to work early.
7:00 am – Guess I should work in the garden before it turns a million degrees.

7:05 am – Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve been out here.
7:06 am – My garden is one big weed. I think this requires gloves and a cocktail.
7:08 am – The cocktail would probably be inappropriate at this hour. Probably.
7:09 am – Must remind husband to mow the jungle. I mean yard.

8:00:01 am – Graham (banging on the his door): “Mom! My clock says 8! Is it morning time?”
Me (to Graham): “Mommy’s coming! I’m so excited you’re up!”
Me (aside to self): Damn, I should have never taught that kid to tell time.

8:35 am: While playing on the floor, Graham asks, “Mom, is this fuzz?”
Me: “It’s hair from the dog.”
Graham: “Will you clean it? The floor is icky.”
8:36 am: I pull out the vacuum. You know your house is a mess when your almost three-year-old points it out.

9:00 am: Morning routine ensues: Take out recycling, feed big kid, little kid, dog and myself. Unload dishwasher. Re-load dishwasher. Must remember to remind husband where dishwasher is.
10:00 am: Get big kid, little kid and myself dressed. I even put on clean clothes. It’s a banner day.
10:30 am: Load up the car in preparation for our attack on the Taste of Charlotte Festival.
10:40 am: Departure Time.

11:00 am: The Double Bob is freaking heavy. Set up stroller, install compatible baby car seat in stroller. Load up big kid. Put baby in stroller-safe car seat.
11:15 am: Pack water, bottles, diapers, sunscreen, wallet, phone, and everything I own into stroller pockets. Put coins in the meter…
11:25 am: Time to get some food! Really enjoyed the Veggie Korma from Namaste and the Asian Pork Tacos from Harvest Moon Grill. Graham really enjoyed his “sprinkle-colored” ice cream from Dippin’ Dots.
1:30 pm: Festival over (for us). Pack the car back up. Return all of my belongings to their proper bags.

2:00 pm: Afternoon activities ensue – Graham down for nap and time to feed the baby.
2:40: Baby down for nap, time to hit the elliptical machine.
2:45 pm: Baby cries, needs a new diaper.
2:55 pm: Still crying.
2:58 pm: Feed baby again.
3:30 pm: Baby down for nap, Graham “needs to go [potty] bad.”
3:32 pm: Graham back down for nap, baby starts to cry. Baby needs new diaper and a new outfit.
3:40 pm: Baby still crying, let the baby bounce begin.
3:50 pm: Legs getting sore from bouncing. Guess that will be my workout for the day.
4:00 pm: Is it 5 o’clock somewhere yet? Momma needs a drink.
4:01 pm: Definitely. Anyway, I’m cool with rounding up. Beer me.
