Ants in my pants. And everywhere else.

Whenever I go out of town, I worry about burglars. Peeps breaking into my house and taking my stuff. Not cool. So prior to leaving, I go through the house, turn lights on in various locations, close some blinds (but not all!), ask the neighbors to pick up the mail… you know the drill. And, although all of these steps were thoughtfully arranged and managed well by various family members and friends, we still had intruders. And they won’t leave. These intruders are ants, and they’ve invited their friends over for a house party. They have become particularly fond of my office/computer space, which is problematic if you know how much time I spend near my computer.

Prior to having kids, pets, (and a brain) I would have likely doused my entire house in Raid in order to encourage my new house guests to make a break for it or die a quick death.
