Take a cruise on the Internet

I’m tired. Exhausted. Can’t keep my eyes open. I blame pregnancy and a toddler.

So, rather than writing a blog entry that would keep me up any longer than necessary (I have a few precious hours of naptime in my future), I thought I’d send you on merry trip around the World Wide Web to visit a few of my favorite websites.

Enjoy!

Want to know what the weather will be like in Charlotte on your birthday next year? Planning a trip to London in the spring? www.weathertrends360.com predicts weather around the world for up to a year. Now, why can’t my weatherman get the current weather straight?

Got a few hours to kill? Check out adorable children’s outfits, paintings to adorn your walls, and fun purses on etsy.com! Everything is handmade and a lot of items are sold by the artisans themselves.

Need a recipe for anything? www.food.com scours the most popular foodie websites to find the best recipes for whatever you’re looking for. It’ll also provide you with ratings and the original website for the recipe.

Want to get the heck out of dodge? I do! Visit www.kayak.com to plan your next trip. Select the “flights” option, then “explore” to type in a price range, departure city, the season you’d like to travel in, and temperature requirements for your destination. Key West for less than $300 if you want to travel this fall! 🙂

Looking for stylish fall wear at a discount? I’ve recently become hooked on the sites like zulily, gilt and the newly launched swirl.com. I’m sent a daily email with awesome designer deals. Every mom deserves to splurge every now and then!

Now, I’m going to splurge and take a Friday afternoon nap. After I polish off that mint chocolate chip ice cream that’s been calling my name.
