I expect this is the last we’ll be posting about the Greenover, so let’s all take a collective sigh of relief! Onwards and upwards to all things parenting, baby, pregnancy, and Charlotte. Thanks for being a reader of Charlotte Mom Favorites!
Happy weekend!
I think that this project should have been done on an older 1950’s house with old wooden windows, an inefficient HVAC system or inefficient hot water system. Not only would it have been a more interesting project but it would have represented “true” Charlotte. Not on one of these houses that have been thrown up over the past couple of decades that all look the same 😛
We didn’t submit to win anything, they just happened to choose our home. There are a lot of things you can do to make a house more “green.” Instead of a hot water system or HVAC system, they wanted to show how new parents could create a more eco-friendly nursery. I suppose different folks find various things “interesting”!
Katie, I think this is great! And I am so happy for you! It warms my heart to see un-suspecting individuals who didn’t ask for it but we’re blessed with it & that was you. I am rejoicing with you & for you. Congrats! Chemeeka Sparks
