I often wish that we lived in a world during the early 1900s, when “physical activity” was incorporated in our every day lives as we commuted on foot to everywhere we needed to be. When there was no trash TV, no partially hydrogenated soybean oil or high fructose corn syrup in food, and when we didn’t zoom around in our SUVs to get kid A, B, and C to every extracurricular activity offered on the planet. When kids played outside instead of on XBOX, and when everyone ate dinner together as a family. When…..
Ok, I’ll stop now. I will admit, I am an idealist, no doubt. I know families in the 1900s had their problems, but obesity and every other side effect due to not eating right or moving enough was not one of them. Our fatness, lethargy, depression, anxiety, diabetes, and high blood pressure (I could go on) are all related, in one way or another, to living contrary to how we are created to live. Our bodies crave activity, nutrients, and knowing our neighbors….ok, the last one may be a stretch. But really, today’s culture literally fights our natural need to move! This is where we help.
My name is Lindsey Justice, owner of Justice Fitness LLC. I am a trainer. My husband is a trainer. We have helped a lot of people change their lives, and we love what we do. I have my Bachelors (Wake Forest) and Masters (UNC Chapel Hill) degrees in Health and Exercise Science. I played soccer and my husband played football at Wake Forest. That is what brought us all the way from our homes (Dallas, TX for me and Daytona Beach, FL for him) to this beautiful state. My husband has played professional football with the Colts and Panthers. We have a one year old daughter named Hannah who has grown up in the gym!
I don’t want to make things any more complicated than they have to be. We help people be healthy, from the inside out. We know what we are doing, and we promise results from lifestyle change, not from fad diets or fly-by-the-night exercise regimes. We know the science, we know the literature, we know what works and what doesn’t work. We care deeply for our clients, and we are blessed to have such a rewarding job. We know that we are supposed to do this, and we will keep doing it until the Good Lord tells us to stop!
So come train with us. To be honest, we are almost at capacity with our clients. But we feel led to enter this give away. We want to offer one luck CMF reader and up to 3 of your friends one free 1 hour training session. If you like it enough, we will give you a discounted rate if you sign up to train. We will come to your home or we can meet at the Charlotte Athletic Club, you don’t need a thing. The ONLY thing we ask is that you live within 10 minutes of Uptown or meet us at the Charlotte Athletic Club to train.
Please check us out at: www.jacojustice.vpweb.com. Our website will tell you who we are, what we are about, who we have helped, and it also had some fun pictures.
We can’t wait to meet you!
