Creating Family Traditions as We Grow
Regardless of my guilt, I’ve been looking for a way to make my kids feel a little more special, which is why when Graham mentioned that it was Green Bear’s birthday, I felt it needed to be celebrated. Green Bear is Graham’s lovie and is a special member of the family. Apparently, he’s five today, so an impromptu party was in order.
That is a really precious story and a great way to connect with your kids after a rough patch. 🙂 Good job, Katie!
Thanks Angelle! Felt a little silly, but Graham was happy, so I’m happy!
Is it weird that this just made me cry a little? Sweet idea. So, now I shall begin planning a birthday party for “Froggie.”
@Catherine – don’t plan too hard! Froggie probably won’t remember too many of the details! 😉 Glad you enjoyed the post. Hope you’re doing well!
So cute. I made my son a little scrapbook with pictures I have taken of Snuggles. I had pictures of snuggles in a toy high chair eating, tucked into bed, playing and so on. My son loves it and looks at it all the time.
