We’ve lived in our home in Charlotte for over six years now. Those six years have seen some serious wear and tear on our home. We’ve hosted an untold number of parties and playdates. There was the summer that Molly the dog began digging in the red clay we call our back yard out of spite because we brought home a baby. There’s also been an unfortunate amount of baby spit-up, blow out diapers, crafting with paint, and throwing food during meal time. Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the dog that has developed a fear of thunder and pees spontaneously during every storm.
Do you know what all of this activity has culminated in? Besides a happy family? Very. Dirty. Carpets. Oh, and a funky odor.
Enter CitruSolutions. My new BFF’s. I was getting pretty darn close to throwing out my kitchen area rug, and the stench of urine in my closet was bordering on obnoxious, so I called up Michael Buzzi. As the owner of the Charlotte-area CitruSolutions, he promised me he could get my house back in shape. No need for harsh chemicals or taking the area rugs out of the home. CitruSolutions could do the job in a few hours, with organic citrus-based cleaning solutions. The treated surfaces would dry in a few hours, and he has competitve pricing. Sold.
I turned them loose in my home. Michael and his handy side-kick, who I accidentally called “hon” because at a side glance he looks scarily like my husband, showed those stains, dirt, and smells who’s boss: CitruSolutions.
They used fancy equipment, they got down on their hands and knees, and at one point I even heard Michael yell to his partner, “Make sure you get the baseboards! I like to make sure the perimeter baseboards are always cleaned too!” Um, did I hear that correctly? A dude that understands that cleaning baseboards is important? That I can live with.
Upon returning the furniture back to their respective rooms, Michael noticed that my son’s reading chair had an obnoxious stain. BTW, I blame our new stay-at-home-dad for that one. He lets Graham have drinks during naptime. And look what happens. Exhibit A:
Well, without question, Michael sent to cleaning that bad boy. Check out the after pic! How awesome is that? Back to new!
Oh, and our master bedroom carpet that was making our whole home smell like dog pee? Well, you kind of need smell-o-vision for that one, but it smells as clean as it looks. Don’t you just love the look of freshly cleaned carpets? I do!
I think it’s great they use natural cleaning solutions. I’ll bet the carpets smell like Oranges
