When it comes to cleaning supplies I am a minimalist. I like to keep it simple and non-toxic. In my arsenal you will find these three things: Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds, Baking soda, and homemade all purpose cleaner. That’s it and it gets the job done!
If you have never used Bronner’s Sal suds you are missing out! I use it for everything from mopping floors to washing laundry and doing dishes! You can find it at Earthfare, Whole foods etc. Next I like to use baking soda as an abrasive to get off tough stuck on grime, it’s a great substitute for Comet. Last I have a mixed all purpose solution that I use for every day tasks such as wiping counters and cleaning little hand prints off the windows.
The great thing about all of these cleaners is that they are safe which is so important when you have little one’s running around, but one of the things I love most is that they are cheap and go a long way! Happy and Healthy cleaning!
All Purpose Cleaner:
Ingredients:
Vinegar, water, essential oil of choice
(I am using Cinnamon essential oil!)
Mix one cup vinegar with one cup water. Add essential oil to your solution to give it a pleasant smell. Store in a spray bottle.
