You will need Borax, Arm & hammer washing soda and two bars of Dr, Bronner’s Castile soap. I like to make mine with peppermint scent and Eucalyptus scented soap bars. It smells so fresh!
Add three cups of washing soda and three cups of Borax to any container you wish to store your soap in.
Add the grated soap to your powder and give your container a good shake to mix it all up!
Recipe yields about a 1 month supply and 1/4 cup can be used for large loads. I use a half scoop of an old Oxy Clean scooper for my measuring. There you have it homemade laundry soap! Easy as 1, 2, 3 (ok, and 4 and 5!)
Thank you. I have been adjusting our homemade recipe. Everyone else I know uses Purex Crystals and we can’t use that due to our allergies.
