Isn’t that the most smoochable face you’ve ever seen? Meet Dakota, she’s a five year old labrador mix. Clearly, she likes to play with her puppy and human friends alike. Only problem? She doesn’t have a home. This sweet girl is hangin’ with the Humane Society of Charlotte until someone opens up their family to include her.
The Humane Society of Charlotte is working hard to make sure that there are no neglected or unwanted pets. But they need your help. They need loving families that are willing and able to welcome these puppa-roos into their homes, they need volunteers, and they need money and supplies. To this end, I’m partnering with Sergeant Pet to help Man’s Best Friend get the care they need. It’s really quite simple:
Just go to Embark on Pet Health and Take the Pet Health Pledge. Each person taking the pledge will trigger the donation of a Sergeant Pet Health Kit to the American Humane Association who houses pets until they find their forever home. These kits will ensure that these animals are sent home with all the products they need to get started on a healthy and happy life together after adoption. Upon taking the pledge you are also eligible to receive a coupon for $3.00 off your next Sergeant’s or Sentry purchase.
See? It’s a win-win situation. Now, I gotta be honest. I was kind of detached from this mission until I bothered to go to the Humane Society of Charlotte’s website. The faces of the animals just melted my heart. And I know they will yours too…
Seriously. I’m contemplating running over there now and scooping up an armful of doggy-love! Just look at those EYES! Ugh. While I’m mulling over which puppies to bring home (all of theme!?!?!), I’m just gonna keep pushing to get these guys their Sergeant Pet Health Care Kits. Will you help? Please take the pledge and pass the link on. Up to 5,000 kits will be donated to pups in need. Come on… What wouldn’t you do to help one of those guys?
