Last Minute Summer Camp! Art Buzz Kids ~ Charlotte

art buzz kids

I’m a big believer in the Mommy New Year.  Most call it “Back to School,” but if you’ve done it before, August is all about getting into new routines and getting organized.   We must pack healthy lunches.  Our homes must be organized for efficient mornings.  We must schedule time to get involved in the classroom.  There’s school supply shopping.  School outfit buying.  And more….

Needless to say, it can be an overwhelming time.  Fortunately, we’ve got a few more weeks left to get things in order.   You know what I plan to do?  Send my kiddo off for one more week of summer camp to make sure I have the time to get things in order.

Earlier this summer, Graham went to Art Buzz Kids camp at the Wine & Design Studio in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte.   And, he’ll be going again August 12-16th.  Your kid can too.  They have {a few} spaces left!  The theme?  The Wild West!  My little cowboy is excited!

The summer camp is for ages 4 and up and are Monday – Friday from 9 am – 1 pm. The cost is $200 per child and $175 per each additional child. There is also a $100 non-refundable deposit due at sign up, which you can pay for by clicking here. For returning campers, there is a 10% discount. After paying your deposit, please fill out our registration form. We look forward to seeing your lil’ Art Bug this summer!

In the past camps, Graham has enjoyed making Amazonian creatures and crafts from Under the Sea.  There’s been paper mache, mask-making, bead making, they’ve made mobiles, pinatas, painted canvases and more.  Here are a few photos from camps past:
