1) If you want to lose weight, it starts in the kitchen.
2) You can always move more.
3) Create a nice inner voice and eliminate negative self-talk.
4) Going through the motions is a waste of time when training. Push yourself and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
5) You”ll never regret a workout, so don”t think about it and just do it.
6) Drink more water.
7) Get some sleep(7-8hrs), that”s when the muscles repair themselves.
8) Eat protein with every meal.
9) You do have enough time to workout. 168 hours in the week, set aside at least 4-6hrs/week to train like a machine.
10) Minimize alcohol consumption. If you want to lose weight eliminate drinking alcohol.
11) Good form is everything! Slow down to prevent an ugly rep (which is a sin).
12) Make your health a priority.
13) Visualize what you”re going to look like as you age and how you”re going to get there.
14) Eliminate stress.
15) Be accountable to yourself.
16) Eat more vegetables.
17) Always set a goal to accomplish. Training is so much more fun when you have a motivational trigger.
18) Surround yourself with positive, active people. Keep the negative mojo away from your positive chi 🙂
19) Don”t waste your calories on empty calories. For example, soda, chips, and any other processed foods/drink.
20) Saved the BEST for last… Your body is a reflection of the choices you have made. The good news, if you don”t like it it”s never too late to start making the right choices.
Keep it real,
Geoff and Holly Graue
