Hippity Hoppity – #HopItForward Easter Playdate with World Market

Host an Easter Playdate with World Market Goodies and Coconut Nest Cupcakes!

hoppiness playdate

“Here comes Peter Cotton Tail, Hopping Down the Bunny Trail…”

Hippity Hoppity! Can I just say, I love, Love, LOVE me some Easter? It’s the kick-off of spring – beautiful weather, the leafing out of trees, bountiful fruit and veggies at the farmer’s market, and a carte blanche invitation to eat as much chocolate as your little heart desires. Um, hmmm. Easter is good.

It’s been lovely in my neck of the woods the last few days, so I decided to take the opportunity to have some of our little friends over for a good ol’ fun-stuffed, chocolate-filled  Easter Playdate. I stocked up on the most adorable goodies and crafts at World Market. We whipped up some super-cute Coconut Nest Cupcakes. And took a ride on the Sugar Train…
hoppiness12 Super cute, right?
hoppiness13 Each World Market Felt Basket is labeled with Chalkboard Egg Clips with each kids’ name. Inside, I filled it with assorted World Market candies, including the most yummy chocolate bunnies (Will can attest to that), Dum Dums with Jelly Bean centers (oh my tasty), toy-filled Easter Crackers and Marshmallow Lollipops!
hoppiness15 I strew (I had to check and make sure that was a word) a few extra Easter Crackers and some adorable rayon chicks out on the table…
hoppiness14 And, of course, couldn’t pass up on the Easter Egg Chalk. Anything to encourage outside play when massive amounts of chocolate is involved!

hoppiness9 After the kids went to town on candy-eating, we lured them back downstairs with the promise of drawing on the patio and…. cupcakes.  ‘Cause, we just hadn’t had our fill yet.  Kids will be kids, and pregnant ladies will eat their weight in sugar… 🙂

hoppiness5 She liked it… I swear!

hoppiness4 And finally, we made it outside to play with chalk, blow some bubbles, and burn off some of that sugar-energy!

All of the Easter Baskets and Goodies can be found at World Market, and so are the adorable tulip cupcake liners used in our Coconut Nest Cupcakes.

Pretty self-explanatory, here’s a brief walk-thru:

Prepare batter.  I used Funfetti.  Who doesn’t love sprinkles?

Once baked and completely cool, ice ’em up.  I used the canned icing, but knock yourself out if you want to make your own!

Sprinkle some coconut on the top, then add your eggs!

Enjoy!

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to share the Hoppiness!  Visit the link below each day, and World Market will be sharing favorite Random Acts of Hoppiness with you! Help us reach our goal of 5,000,000 hops and World Market will Hop It Forward by donating 50,000 meals to regional food banks.

I was given World Market gift cards to purchase supplies and to compensate me for my time in creating this post.  All opinions are my own.
