Date Night When You’re Ready to Pop

This Date Night is Ready to Pop, thanks to the Pop Perfect app!
Date night is ready to pop! www.MomFavorites.com
As one who loves the local social scene, fancy dinners and any excuse to throw on heels and a dress, it’s tough to admit – I’m just not up to it anymore.

At nearly 36 weeks pregnant, I’m ready to pop.  Quite literally.  Going out sounds like a hassle, fancy dinners sound long, and heels?  Hah!  But, I still love my hubs and spending time with him, so Date Night continues on, just in a slightly different format.

The scene:

The food:

The attire:
Date night is ready to pop! www.MomFavorites.comPretty awesome, right?  Actually, it is.  As much as I love getting out, snuggling on the couch with a big ol’ bowl of popcorn, my favorite candy, a great flick and the hubs is nice.  So is not wearing a bra.

Those of you that know me know – I really do LOVE popcorn.  Like eat it for dinner and serve it for appetizers when guests come over LOVE popcorn.  Needless to say, when I got my hands on the Perfect Pop App,  I did a little happy dance.  An app for popcorn? Oh, don’t worry.  It’s free.
Date night is ready to pop! www.MomFavorites.com Just put your Pop Secret popcorn in the microwave, put your phone near the microwave, then push start (on the app and the microwave), then the app tells you when it’s done.  Tells. you. when. it’s. done!  No anxious hovering around the microwave counting pops or waiting too long and getting that yuck burned smell.  Stinky popcorn is no way to start a date night.

Now the tough part – what to watch?  I’m currently contemplating: The Monuments Men, The Wolf of Wall Street, Dallas Buyer’s Club and Philomena.  But, I’d love to hear your suggestions!  What movies are on your must-see list?

Love popcorn as much as I do?  Share your opinions in this survey.

This post is sponsored by Pop Secret, but all opinions (as always!) are my own.

Ha, sounds about right to me! I’m not expecting, but when baby goes to bed at 7:30-8, the pajamas come out and the movie comes on. 🙂
