Asian Dips for Easy Entertaining

Don’t forget to pin the Thai Peanut and Creamy Sriracha Asian Dips for your next get-together!

I am the self-proclaimed queen at taking something out of the box and making it into a dish that’s seemingly homemade.  For me, it’s an essential component of entertaining.

Playdate gets extended into afternoon snack time? Stir together some mustard and honey in a pretty bowl, and serve with sourdough pretzels.  Unexpected drop-in guests?  Sure, they can stay for dinner!  Pull out a few frozen pizzas, top them with some chopped up fresh veggies and dinner is served.

Your turn to host happy hour or your neighborhood holiday party?  I’ve got an idea for that too… I know you’re shocked. 😉

I always keep my freezer loaded with appetizer options, including Tai Pei Asian Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls.  You can get them in the frozen meals section of Walmart.

We eat a mostly vegetarian diet in our house, so I like the Tai Pei Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls and the Shrimp Egg Rolls, but all of the flavors are tasty.  (I’ve heard great things about the Mini Spicy Chicken Egg Rolls!)

Since I like to put my own spin on things, I generally make a few dips to go-with.  Something the kids will like: Thai Peanut Dip, and something spicy for the adults: Creamy Sriracha Dip.  The sauce that comes in the package is pretty durn good too, though.

The Thai Peanut Dip is the perfect combination of sweet and salty.  In my (humble) opinion, it’s lick-the-bowl good.  I like to make extra and then use it to toss with linguini and broccoli for a mock Pad Thai later in the week.

Well, if you like your food with a little tang and a lot of kick, you’ll love this.   And if you want to round out your party menu with a veggie plate and wings, this Creamy Sriracha dip is perfect!

With all of the extra stress the holidays bring, entertaining doesn’t have to be one of them.  And, no one needs to know your secret is in the freezer!  I won’t tell if you won’t!
