Purina ProPlan Bright Mind dog food helps senior dogs stay active and alert in their adult years!

I wrote to you last week and shared how much we love our Molly-girl.  She is a true member of our family.  But, she’s aging, and although I know she’s lived a long and happy life, it’s hard to see.  Her muzzle is graying, she’s having a harder time getting up and down the stairs, she farts (omg, does she fart), and she sleeps a good portion of the day.

Our vet encouraged us to switch her to a senior dog food, and so earlier this month we began to use Purina ProPlan Bright Mind dog food for dogs over the age of 7.  ProPlan Bright Mind is specially formulated to increase cognitive awareness in adult dogs.  When added to the daily diet of dogs 7+, formulas such as this one which contain enhanced botanical oils help to promote memory, attention and trainability.

We definitely saw a difference in Molly within 30 days.  She’s been spending more time acting as “watch dog” of the neighborhood.

And, I dare say, she may have even found a new boyfriend! 🙂

The experts at Purina share that owners who feed their senior dogs Purina Pro Plan Bright Mind as a daily diet may notice differences in owner-dog interaction, interest in play and the ability to adapt and cope with change. With approximately 87 million dogs in the U.S. and an estimated 44 percent of them considered adult, making this change could have a positive impact on so many families!

Wanna see Molly in action?  I took this video of Molly this morning after coming back from the bus stop.  I blame our school’s early start time on the dark video, but look how much energy she has!  Gotta love seeing the puppy come out in her even though she’s 12 1/2 years old!

Be sure to hit up PetSmart to score your Purina Pro Plan Bright Mind dog food for your pet.  Spend $10 on any Purina Pro Plan Dry Dog or Cat Food* at PetSmart between 8/31 and 10/4, you can save $10 on your next Purina Pro Plan Dry Food purchase, 14-lb. or more, on or before 11/1. *Subject to availability. Transaction total is after discounts and before taxes.
