Y’all.  I’m stupid excited about this post.  Truly.  Sure, upon reading and viewing, you’ll see I’m green.  Eh.  Let’s call it ‘room for improvement.’  But today, I practiced a new skill that I hope to get better at this year – video blogging!  Hollah!

About time?  I’ll take that.  But better late than never.

First blog instagram post... by me.

First Instagram Photo Used for the Blog – circa 2013.

I remember the first time I used Instagram to take a photo for the blog.  Turns out, and this is purely by chance, it was also for Valentine’s Day, and it was also fudge.  But if I’m being honest… that fudge wasn’t the best (won’t be using icing as an ingredient in fudge again any time soon).  My photo ain’t so hot either.  I’m sure one day I’ll laugh about this video, but my no-bake fudge recipe?  It’s awesome.

I’m not an eager baker, but I do love making sweet treats for my boys and loved ones, especially around Valentine’s Day.  This no-bake candy cookie fudge uses just a few ingredients that you can find at Walmart, and takes very little skill.  (Hey, if I can do it, you can!)

I’ve made several varieties so that I can pass them out to the neighbs come V-Day, but my favorite combo is probably White Chocolate Chips with Vanilla Sandwich Cookies and M&M’s® Strawberry.  Vanilla and Strawberry is a favorite combo of mine (as evidenced above), but it just took me a few years to perfect the combo.

I’ll be passing these out in favor bags soon, and for a few of my besties I also picked up cute American Greetings® cards and these DOVE® Chocolate Tins from Walmart. DOVE® Chocolate is just yum, dontcha think?  Just a little something to let those that help me get through my day know how much they mean to me.
