WaterWipes – For Newborn Skin

This post was sponsored by WaterWipes as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.

Are you a brand loyal shopper?  I don’t know that I am often super conscious about selecting certain branded products.  When it comes to most things I buy what’s convenient, based on price, packaging, and prior experience.  I have a few exceptions: eye makeup remover, stain removal, and baby wipes.

Since James as just a wee-thing, we’ve been using WaterWipes.  After several bouts of bad diaper rashes, these were recommended for use.  WaterWipes is a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.  Perfect for little ones with very sensitive skin.  I order mine from Babies ‘R Us.

And, while he’s not so little anymore, two years later, we still use WaterWipes.  I still care about his new-to-this-world skin, but I also appreciate the durability of these wipes.   He may be delicate, but what he puts in his diapers sure isn’t.  WaterWipes can handle it.  Even if at times my nose can’t.

I find it interesting that in the baby registry stage I was worried about laundry detergent and bath soap.  Lotions and medicines.  But wipes?  That I use on him daily?  It didn’t even occur to me to look into getting something for his brand-new baby skin.  But when you see this video below, and are reminded of how delicate our little babes are…. you’ll realize that everything you put next to them matters.

Now, let me share this video with you with proper warning: If you are even considering having another child.  Or simply have a uterus…. this will make you want to pop out another baby, like tomorrow.  Seeing those mommas snuggle their newborns makes my mom-soul ache for another infant.  Ache.

Have you tried WaterWipes?  What are your experiences with the brand?
