What TO Wear – A Chic Charlotte Mom Giveaway

When I can’t sleep at night (a rather common occurrence with this pregnancy), I watch TV. Sometimes it’s Law & Order (I find the consistent doink-doink therapeutic), other times I get sucked into whatever is on TLC – What Not To Wear is a current fave.

If you haven’t seen it, two style gurus pick on some poor and frumpy woman. They video tape her unawares in her worst clothes, and then bombard her in front of all of her friends, family, and the TV-world to denounce her taste in clothes. They continue the public harassment by forcing the poor gal to dress in front of a camera and three-way-mirror and pick apart everything she’s doing wrong. But don’t worry. They make amends by granting the victim with a bevy of style tips and a lovely $5,000 Visa gift card to replace her formerly hideous wardrobe with more socially appropriate attire. It’s truly delightful television.

And now, Charlotte Mom Favorites would like to pass on the “favor” to you. Minus th
e public embarrassment and $5,000 gift card. Krysta Johnson of Chic Charlotte Mom, a personal styling and concierge service, would like to offer one lucky Charlotte Mom Favorite reader a style consultation and closet overhaul. Her credentials include a degree in fashion merchandising, a stint at Marie Claire magazine in NYC, and a less than perfect body-type which has enabled her to relate with other women who have trouble dressing for their shape. The winner will schedule a time to have Krysta meet you at your home, discuss flattering styles for your body type, and then you’ll go through your closet and find out what works, what doesn’t, and where you need to fill in the gaps. All with a little more sincerity and tenderness than what you see on What Not To Wear, but with all of the tips to help you put your most-stylish foot forward.

To become the best dressed momma on your block, here’s what you gotta do:

  • First and foremost, “like” Chic Charlotte Mom on Facebook.
  • Fill out the form below, your info will be kept confidential, but I need your contact info to get your address if you win.
  • Become a public Google follower of the blog (click the “follow” with google friend connect button on the right-hand side of the screen
  • Kindly vote for us on Top Mommy Blogs (not a requirement, but we sure would appreciate it!)
  • Become a friend of Charlotte Mom Favorites on Facebook.
  • We also ask that if the winner likes the services provided, that she write a brief review of her experience for the blog!

The deadline for entries is Thursday, November 18th at 5pm. The winner will be chosen by Random.org and announced this Friday. Good luck ladies!

P.S. Please only enter if you live in the Charlotte-area vicinity. Unfortunately, we can’t afford to fly Krysta off to visit our winner. 🙂
