Those of you that have been placating me by reading my blog for awhile know that I opened up my home back in January to a crew of folks to do an eco-friendly renovation for a Green Works advertisement. We got to hang out with HGTV celeb Carter Oosterhouse, embarrass ourselves in local media interviews, and have our house dismantled (and somewhat reassembled) all in the name of remodeling our playroom and creating a nursery for our new baby.
I can say we’ve definitely settled in well to the new rooms in the house. We’ve made subtle changes to make them our own, and we were glad to get an insider’s perspective of what home make-over “reality” television is really like. I won’t be receiving an Oscar for my horrible performance during the reveal, but I never really wanted to go in to acting anyway.
