•Do you have any movie coupons? Our two tickets were $14.50 for a matinee. Yikes!
•Plan to arrive at the theater when the movie starts. This gives you enough time to buy your tickets, visit the bathroom and get a snack while missing the previews that might not be appropriate for your child.
•Order a kids pack snack. For just over $5 we got a small drink, popcorn and fruit snacks. The “healthier” water beverage that I chose to get was $4.50! I could have easily made it through an hour-long movie without a drink for myself.
•Once you get in the theater look for a row with other people on it or one of the “short” rows on the side. This limits the amount of chasing that you have to do if your child doesn’t want to sit in the seat for the entire movie.
•Don’t waste your time with one of the child seats. Who would want to sit on hard plastic while you watch a movie? Just help hold the seat down when your child is climbing up or down and you’ll be fine.
•Finally, be sure to bring a pack of wipes or the hand sanitizer! You never know what you’ll encounter.
Happy movie watching everyone!

Thanks to Laura for the great guest blog. I also blogged about my first movie-going experience with Graham. It can be harrowing, but fun too! Here’s my take.
