Every year it’s the same: Finding kinks in life and coming up with grand resolutions destined to put everything back on track. I have a little bit of anticipation about 2013, mostly because I’ve got mixed regrets about closing the door on 2012… I’ve started a business, my youngest son started walking, Graham learned how to ride a bike, and my husband accepted a new job this year. I broke my wrist, but it healed, I passed out at a business meeting, but I got back up. My boys are growing into little men.
And this last week, has really been bliss. There’s been lots of family time, plenty of date nights, lots of indulging, and a much needed work break. So, it’s with mixed emotions that I’m sitting here and plotting how 2013 is going to take it up a notch.
But, after much thought, this is how I plan to make 2013 My Year:
* Run a half-marathon. I don’t plan to run an official half-marathon, but I do want to run the whole thing at a greenway I love.
* Exercise six times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.
* Travel internationally
* Get organized: Budget, editorial content, house
* Schedule working and non-working hours into my day
* Play with the kids 30 minutes every day
