We got crafty again in our house this morning. I don’t know what’s come over me! Not sure if it’s the fact I have a little guy that likes to craft or if I just felt sorry for the birds. Regardless, Graham ot to craft, the birds (or squirrels, more likely!) are getting a winter meal, and I found a craft that involved minimal clean-up. A win-win for everyone.
Here’s a simple craft, perfect for a quiet morning in with the kid(s)!
Now, I don’t keep toilet paper or paper towel rolls. Perhaps, I should. Instead, I just unrolled a wrapping paper roll and used that.
Spread peanut butter on the rolls. We used Reduced-Fat Creamy, but I’m thinking that any kind of nut butter should work. 🙂
Roll the gooky rolls into bird seed.
Now, they’re ready to drape on branches. If you have a dog, you might want to make sure they are out of their reach. My pup seemed to really think these rolls looked good enough for her to chomp on.
