We’re Chiquita Moms, July vol. 2

I hold fast to the belief that a Happy Mom = a Happy Family!  Don’t you?  That’s what we celebrated this week with our Chiquita Moms Community.  First up, Natalie celebrated one of her favorite holidays… Independence Day the proper way.  Water-play and fireworks.  Sounds about right!

Angie also shared her experience with finding Mommy Bliss.  Wanna know her trick? Read on here:  http://www.chiquitamoms.com/2012/07/finding-bliss-with-your-family/
I can’t wait to make the Banana Foster’s recipe that sent Tricia back to her happy place…. childhood memories!  It’s truly amazing what one can make in foil on a campfire or grill!  For more ideas, visit:  http://www.charlottemomfavorites.com/2012/06/cook-it-in-foil-atypical-summer.html
And talking about happy places… one of my favorite past-times is being alone in the shower.  I swear moms should hang out more in the shower.  Water cascading and drowning out the sound of screaming kids… Yep, sounds about right.  While you’re getting your daily rinse on, try out Vanessa’s DIY Chiqutia banana scrub.  I’m sure it smells like heaven!
Finally, don’t miss my happy moment of the week… getting messy in the kitchen with fruit on a stick.  Coating apples and bananas is a goopy project… but it’s might tasty.  Learn more here: http://www.chiquitamoms.com/2012/07/fruit-on-a-stick-candy-coated-apples-bananas/
For the love of bananas… get thee to ChiquitaMoms.com where we share our love for parenting and healthy habits!
