Trader Joe’s – For Adults

When I walk into Trader Joe’s, I’m like a kid in a candy store. There’s so much to choose from, but the carts are so small! Despite what else may be on your grocery list, make sure to save some space for these items:

– Gyoza: These frozen Asian dumplings come in a variety of flavors, but I prefer the veggie and shimp. Serve with their Soyaki sauce. Yum.
– Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette: Makes me absolutely crave salads. In fact, I’d pretty much dip anything in it…
– Organic Sliced Apples: I always like to have these in the fridge. If I need a fresh, cool, snack or some fruit in the morning, these are an easy solution. Miraculously, they don’t brown.
– Wasabi Pow: A fun and spicy blend of dried fruit, nuts and wasabi peas. When I need a little afternoon pick-me-up, I grab a handful (or two), and it usually does the trick.
– Fiberful Dried Fruit Bars: An adult version of the fruit roll-up, chocked full of fiber. I like to have one before or after a work out.
– Cheese: I’ll never buy cheese anywhere else again. They have a great selection, for about half of what you’d pay at the Teeter.
– Wine: I’ll let you judge the two-buck-chuck for yourself, but I have gotten several good bottles of wine in the $5 to $10 range. Not bad, if I do say so myself!
