Has Your Home Been Deep Cleaned?

A review of L&D Cleaning Services

Having two kids, running the house, working from home and trying to have a life is tough.  Take a hand away, and it’s nearly impossible.  You learn to make adjustments, you learn to let some things go, and you pay for what needs to be done that you can’t do.  Enter L&D Cleaning Service.

It’s super-duper tough to sweep with one hand.  Fortunately L&D Cleaning comes with four (hands that is).  I came across Megan and Jennifer with L&D from a plea I made to my Facebook friends.  I got many responses (thanks gals!), and followed up with a lot of them.  I settled with L&D for several reasons:
I trusted the recommendation, I like supporting start-up businesses run by women, and I liked their energy and enthusiasm.  It’s hard to get excited about cleaning base boards.  They did it better than any I’ve seen.  And of course, let’s not forget to mention, they had reasonable rates.
After the initial consultation where I walked them through the house apologizing for the mess, we agreed that they would do a thorough deep-clean of the house and then come back for regular cleanings on a bi-weekly basis.  When Megan and Jennifer arrived at the house for the deep-clean, they were pretty darn cute in matching outfits.  After nearly 5 hours of cleaning they look like they had been through a war zone.  Guess my house was that bad.  I probably should have had them come earlier…
My house has never seen this kind of clean.  And may never again…
And yes, you should too.  I’ll be honest, the deep-clean isn’t cheap, but they did all of the things I never wanted to do:  clean my blinds, wipe down all of my cabinets, clean every slat of the baby crib, wipe down the blades of the fans, scrub the baseboards, and even hand-wash and dry the floors.  Yep, pretty incredible.  Then, once your home is in “L&D condition” the bi-weekly cleanings are very affordable.  Let’s just say they’ll still be cleaning my house once I ditch the cast.
If you end up giving them a go, be sure to tell them Charlotte Mom Favorites referred you, and they’ll take $30 off your deep-clean service.  And trust me, you want the deep clean service.  And the discount.

Give them a call: 980-613-9717
Or send an email: landdcleaningservices@gmail.com
If you have any questions about my experience, feel free to let me know.  I did get my cleaning at a discounted rate in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.  Of course…
