Lettuce Carry: Home Delivery Grocery Review and Discount Code

I hit a breaking point when I broke my wrist in August.  (Pun intended.) I was already feeling overwhelmed by work, family and chores.  Now, I was going to have to do everything with one hand.  Awesome.

I quickly had to realize that I could no longer do everything myself.  The first thing I did was increase the number of hours my nanny was coming to the house.  (Thanks Krystle!!!!)  The second thing I did was call a cleaning service to come in and maintain the house for me.  (Thanks L&D!!!!)  The next thing I did was place my grocery orders through Lettuce Carry.

Their delivery van has refrigerators at different temperatures so
food is stored properly.

It’s something I had been contemplating before, but when presented with my one-hand-life challenge, I finally got the motivation to place the order.  Lettuce Carry is a local grocery delivery service.  You shop on their online website, they pull the items from the warehouse, and deliver it to your home.  Prices are low, they have thousands of items at the ready, they take manufacturer’s coupsons, and there is no charge for next-day delivery.  Want it in two hours? It’s only $10 for a $25 minimum order.

That’s Josh. He brings the groceries in.  Even if you do have two hands.

I’ve totally paid that two-hour delivery before too, like when I’ve needed diapers ASAP, like when I needed supplies for dinner and didn’t feel like taking the kids out in the rain, and I totally thought about it the other night when the hubs and I wanted a cold brew, but none were in the fridge.  Yep… they have beer and wine too!

You get to keep the bags too, if ya like.

Another thing that I LOVE about Lettuce Carry is that they source the poultry, meats and seafood from local  suppliers.  Grass fed beef from a farmer in Weddington, check.  Colossal Carolina Shirmp, check.  They also have a good selection of organic produce and food items.

My recent purchase: soy milk, la croix water, cheerios, all-natural jam,
local cage-free chicken breasts and cutlets, ground lamb, chocolate chips
quinoa, fruit, and of course… milk.

Now, you know I wouldn’t just post a great review without offering something up for y’all!  Good through October 20th, place an order over $50 with Lettuce Carry and you’ll get a $5 discount with the code CLTMOMS.

If you try it out, let us know what you think!

To facilitate this review, I was provided with a credit for Lettuce Carry, but I have purchased with Lettuce Carry in the past and will continue to do so.  All opinions, pictures and statements in this post are my own.
