Helluva Spring Break

It’s been one helluva week.  Yep.  Spring break.  Holy crow.  There needs to be a warning sent home with kids the last day of school before Spring Break.  It should say something like:

spring break warning

Ya know? Ok, seriously… it’s been a tough week.  I still have regular work and responsibilities.  My nanny has been out of town.  My house is being painted top to bottom to get ready for going on the market next week (yes, it got delayed), and both boys have been sick, including the Birthday Boy on his birthday.

So, you know what I did???? Sent them off to full-day drop-off day care today!!!! Spring break for momma!  Yeah, it’s my own personal spring break – if spring break means taking the dog to the vet, working from 7am until 7pm, and eating lunch all by myself for a few blissful moments while catching up on HBO’s Girls.  Ok, yeah, so maybe it is a wee bit like spring break.  That show is awesome.

Tell me, has it been a rough week for you?  Or are you relishing this extra time with your kids?

Summer’s gonna be a doozie.

P.S. I really love my children.  And the time I get to spend with them.  I just felt like whining, and I have a blog to do it on.

Where is there a full day drop off day care? I am intrigued!! What are the prices like? Did the boys like it? Also, happy bday to your little guy!

It’s a employee benefit through Bank of America. However, I believe the Chesterbrook Academy at 51 and Beverly Crest has full day drop in child care. (We used them through employee benefits at Wachovia.) You have to fill out all of the enrollment paperwork, but if you plan to do it semi-often it’s totally worth it. As for cost…. I’m not sure what it is if you aren’t using it through your place of work.

And yes, I know. It should say You’re welcome. Not Your Welcome. But I ain’t redoing the graphic. Just saying.
