Life Status Update vol.33 issue 11

katie stache

Hi y’all.  It’s me.  Katie.  You haven’t been getting a lot of “me” stories lately.  I know.  There’s been a heck-ton of stuff going on in the Harding household lately.  I’ve been running like a chicken with it’s head cut off lately (terrible phrase… ewww).  But, it’s true.  I’ve been crazy-busy, and every little last ounce of energy I’ve had, has gone into my kiddo’s.  They deserve it and so much more.

Honestly, I’m so glad it’s summer.  I’m gonna plan a great big bucket list that will force me to think about how I’m going to have fun with my kids.  I want to make sure that I step away from the computer a bit over the school break before my oldest kid trucks off to kindergarten.  Sigh….

But, why I’m here today, is just to say hi.  Hi!  Thanks for taking a little time out of your day to read our blog.  In addition to one heckuva Summer Bucket List blog post coming up, we’ve got a great of other things in store for you over the next few warm sweltering months on Mom Favorites!

First….  I’m so beyond thrilled to share with y’all that I’m working with Harris Teeter to come up with some great family gathering and entertaining ideas to add a little more awesome to your dining.  I can’t reveal too much yet, but you’re gonna dig the creative food ideas and fun party tips we come up with.  Stay tuned… Next week, we’re gonna get cookin’!

Second… I’m moving.  Not websites, again.  Literally, we’re picking up and heading down the street.  Yeah, like only a few miles, but still.  How does anyone survive packing up an entire house?  I’m not faring so well.  I’m a everything in it’s place kind a gal, and nothing is in it’s place.  But, there is a silver lining, because….

In July, we’ll be sharing a new series with you:  This New House, sponsored by Unpakt.com.  Unpakt.com is helping my family make this transition from one home to the next as easy as possible.  They’ve paired me up with a great local moving company (thanks Principle Moving!), and I can’t wait to share the details of my experience on the blog.

Once settled, I’ve teamed up with an Interior Designer, a Professional Organizer, and countless businesses to showcase how your home can be artfully styled, with kids in mind, and all on a family budget.  Beyond sharing some great ideas, we’ll have tons of discounts and giveaways.  Fun, right?

Last but not least, we’ve got some great writers that we’re adding to our roster.  I’ll formally introduce them to y’all in a few weeks, but we’re going to bring the focus to what matters.  Our kids.  Making sure they are happy, smart, and living their best life!

So that’s me in a nutshell: Cookin’, movin’, motherhood.  Plus a some social media client work, playgroup organizing, and soaking up a little summer fun.  Thanks for sharing the wild ride with me, and I hope to hear about your awesome summer plans.

Whatcha got going on?  Any fun travels?
