Savor Summer with Klondike Kandy Bars!

Savor Summer with Klondike Kandy Bars!

If I’m to be honest, the onset of summer definitely freaked me out.  Having the kids home while trying to work out of the home, while pregnant seems it should be a circus act, not my reality!

We’re on week 2 of summer vacation, and I’m beginning to learn the ropes of how this summer will be manageable for me.  1) Summer camp.  2) Hire more help for work-related stuff.  3) Plan a little bit of fun into every day.

We’ve done some major outdoor fun since school’s been out, including a family-fun night in our backyard, and a mega-birthday party, complete with water-slide and bounce house.  Yeah, that was a big hit (and a muddy mess).

But every day can’t be a party, and sometimes, it’s the little things that we remember the most.  I’m hoping my boys will remember this: Klondike Kandy Ice Cream Bars and cleaning off in the sprinkler after a long and fulfilling summer day.

Step one is simple (and kind of mandatory) – feed the kids dinner. Bribe them if necessary with the upcoming treat.

Bust out the Klondike Kandy Ice Cream Bars and let them pick out their favorite flavor. Klondike Kandy Bars come in Cookies & Cream, Caramel & Peanuts, and Fudge Crunch flavors.

Watch them devour those ice-creamy-deliciousness, little-bites-of-heaven (honest opinion)!

Let them rinse off in the sprinklers. We have a pants optional policy when it comes to sprinkler time at our house!
pregnancy klondike craving
Finally? One for me. Sure, it’s a bit cliche, a very pregnant momma, sitting with her feet up, throwing back a Klondike Kandy Bar, but you know what? It’s so worth it. Every bite down to the last bit of carmaley goodness. (Guess it’s kind of obvious which flavor I picked!)
