Soothe baby bums with this simple natural product: WaterWipes.  Great for newborns and babies prone to diaper rash!

Poop.  Lots of it.  Next to feeding your new baby, poop will take over your world.  Not having been around babies until I had my own, it was something I was not at all prepared for.

I always laugh (in a I-was-sooo-there way) when I read through the feeds of new parents on Facebook.  They are tired.  They have spit up on their shirts.  And they talk A LOT about dirty bums.

We’ve been fighting our own dirty-bum battle in the Harding house lately.  In addition to normal diaper woes, poor James has had diaper rashes, yeast infections and the like.

It’s an unpleasant business, and one I’ve refrained from posting about on Facebook, until now. 😉

We’ve upgraded our diaper cream to a prescription, which has helped.  Whenever you see a flaming infection that lasts more than a few days, it’s time to take them to the doctor.  Yeast infections don’t clear up like a diaper rash, and it’s gotta be crazy uncomfortable for them.

Another change we’ve made is to switch to WaterWipes, a 100% chemical-free wipe with only two ingredients: 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.

Little man had been getting so upset when we were using our normal brand of wipes on his sore private parts, and these wipes, with simple ingredients seemed to soothe the raw parts.   It’s a switch we’ll be sticking with, especially for these hot summer months!

WaterWipes are great for newborns too, as these simple ingredients ensure that you don’t bring any harsh chemicals to brand new baby parts.

Know a bum that could use a gentle wipe?  Be sure to snag the 2 for $6 WaterWipes deal at Babies ‘R Us locations.   Just don’t share the before and after pic on Facebook? ‘K?

Another bonus? Readers can enter to win a $100 Babies “R” Us gift card by taking one of the actions to become part of the WaterWipes community now through July 8th:
