Ice Cream Sundae Party Playdate Inspiration

disclosure
Summer isn’t over yet!  Get inspired with Smucker’s® Ice Cream Toppings and host an Ice Cream Sundae Party Playdate that your kids will never forget! #SundaeFundae

What’s up with all those crazy people?  Those people that are back-to-school shopping already and pinning gifts for teachers.  My mind can’t take it, folks.  My soul can’t take it.

I’m lovin’ each day this summer.  I’m loving time with my kids.  I’m loving time by the pool.  And I’m loving the excuse to enjoy a bowl of ice cream every night on the front porch with my kids.  Early mornings, homework and early bed time certainly doesn’t sound appealing.  So, let’s just not talk about that for awhile, ‘k?

I still have plenty of fun things left on my summer bucket list, not the least of which is a crazy-cool neighborhood party featuring one heckuva ice cream sundae bar.  Sounds fun, right?  Entry to the party is simple.  Just move into my hood!

Not possible?  Bummer!  Our happy hour playdates are killer…

Well, guess you’ll just have to host your own Ice Cream Sundae Bar Playdate.  I’ve got plenty of inspiration for you, and most are a breeze to prep, set up, and we know they’ll be delish!

Follow Mom Favorites {Katie}’s board Everyday Sundae on Pinterest.

I’ll be adding to this board over the next few weeks, so be sure to follow it for tons of great mega-ice cream parties or simple ways to turn everyday into a Sundae.  Don’t roll your eyes.  I can’t write a post without at least one play on words. 🙂

For my own party, I recently hit up Walmart to score some of our goodies for the playdate.

I couldn’t get enough of the fun Smucker’s® Ice Cream Toppings, and that’s just the beginning.

I picked up gallons of ice cream.  Adorable serving bowls and more.  As I’m super-stoked for this ice cream shindig, I created a little Polyvore board to boot.  I’ve included a list of items that I’d like to incorporate into my playdate so you can pull from some of these ideas!
