A Day in My Life: 12 Hour Adventure

Tracking PixelMy #12HourAdventure was sponsored by Caribou Coffee.  Definitely the right sponsor for this kind of day!  All opinions are my own.

Manic Monday? Pshaw.  In my house it’s Manic Saturday.  A day when I try to cram family time, personal time, and overdue work all into one day.   What’s a 12 hour adventure look like on my typical Saturday?   Glad you asked.  Here’s a guided visual of a day in my life.

Wakie, wakie!  My baby alarm clock goes off and the race begins. Kids get fed, and we all head off to the Matthew’s Farmer’s Market – our favorite local market.

A day in the life! #12hrAdventure indeed!

Every Matthew’s Farmers Market stop necessitates a visit to Renfrow Hardware.  It’s a destination not only because of the chicken coop, but it’s the only place I know of where you can time travel back to the 50’s.  🙂

I can’t look at food without eating, so we stopped for a bite.  And a few snuggles.  I’ve got a lot of boys.

Dude.  It got hot, so we walked over to the library.  We cleared them out of books and caused a little raucous.  But for some reason, they haven’t told us to leave and not come back.

Once home, it’s treadmill time.  5 miles and done.

And this is why we go to the library.  Because on library day, the kids are actually excited to read books.  Which buys me precious time to go for a ….

Pedicure!

The nail salon is conveniently located directly next to my favorite coffee shop: Caribou Coffee!  It’s mid-afternoon, and I already feel like I’ve tackled three days worth of activities.  Must. Drink. Coffee.

I declined my usual Iced Chai for Coldbrew Crafted Press Coffee.  I was intrigued by the description and the cool barrels!  Unlike iced coffee which is brewed hot and then gets diluted when it hits ice, coffee beans in cold-press coffee never come into contact with heated water.  It gets a slightly sweeter taste, lower in acidity, and higher in caffeine.  Yes please.

Rolling down the street in my minivan, sippin’ on Caribou… Laid back with my mind on my coffee and my blog post on my mind…

I came home to this.  There are no words.  But, if it makes him happy….

Properly fueled with my Caribou Coffee Crafted Press, it’s time to get a little bit of work done.

Then dinner.  This is an awesome hash I made up with some of our morning’s farmers market finds.  After it was cooked up, I topped it with a few fried eggs.  #Nomnomnom

Is it bedtime yet? Almost. First, we gotta rebuild our entire Pirate Playmobile collection. Totally worth it to see the smiles on their faces.

Finally.  Night, night y’all!
