Turn an ordinary day into a #SundaeFundae with a DIY Ice Cream Bar with amazing toppings!

I did it.  I rocked my kids’ world.  And it was really darn simple.

Imagine their delight when they came home to this:

I mean, who wouldn’t be over the moon?  And what’s funny is it was so darn simple to throw together.

Want to wrap up summer with a bang?  Pull out all of the stops (and just a few minutes) and wow them with their very own Ice Cream Sundae Bar.

First, I grabbed all of my Smucker’s Toppings and ice cream at Walmart.  Oh, and I got the glassware, tray and chalkboard labels there too.

Aren’t they adorable?  Just be sure that you peel the labels off or hand wash them.  They don’t do so well in the dishwasher.   Been there, done that.

I used a chalkboard pen to label each glass with the toppings and pre-scooped ice cream.  For the kids.  And  for their parents.  You didin’t think the hubs and I were going to let them enjoy this on their own, did you? 🙂

Then I we all got to whipping up our very own Ice Cream Sundae recipes.  With as many toppings as we wanted.  Fo’ real.

I would’ve thought the kids were just going to pick sprinkles and chocolate sauce, but when presented with the toppings all laid out before them, they actually tried new things.  Let’s be honest… Strawberry Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce and Marshmallow Fluff does sound like an amazing new recipe.  Right?

My world was rocked when I put together Chocolate Ice Cream, Smucker’s Magic Shell Chocolate, Caramel and Toffee.  It was epic.  Just don’t tell my personal trainer.  (You don’t read my blog, do you Paul?)

Just another ordinary day at the Harding house.  But… I do have a one year old’s birthday coming up next week.  Ice Cream Bar anyone?

How will you turn an ordinary day into a #SundaeFundae?
