The holidays get a makeover with these fun cotton candy mocktails featuring 7UP TEN or Canada Dry.
Are holiday fêtes filling up your calendar yet? Silly question, I know. Between events for the kids, work obligations, and family and friends, this time of year is insane. Makes me almost yearn for the day after Christmas when my family and I can curl up on the couch and watch movies.
Yeah, yeah. I guess it’s a little early to get grinchy on y’all!
Because we’ve got such an active few months in store, my #1 goal is going to be moderation. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, folks. Limit the cheese plates, cut back on the bubbly, don’t stay out too late.
I’m hosting a few of my own holiday events this season, and I’ll try to help my guests have a great and memorable time (without the headache in the morning) by serving a few lighter food options, and serving a mocktail.
I’ve been playing around with cotton candy lately (it’s just so darn fun to incorporate into recipes), and came up with this fun drink. Great for those that are trying to limit the booze, while still enjoying a fun drink.
For your upcoming shindig, be sure to share have the ingredients for Cotton Candy Holiday Mocktails on hand. Made with 7UP TEN or Canada Dry TEN , which has just ten calories per serving, your guests will appreciate a no-guilt drink!
Grab your favorites while at Walmart and save $1 on TWO (2) 2-Liter bottles of 7UP TEN, A&W TEN, Canada Dry TEN, RC TEN, Squirt TEN, or Sunkist TEN.
To assemble our cotton candy mocktails, take champagne glasses and dip them in a shallow bowl with water, then onto a plate with your choice of sugar sprinkles.
Next, carefully place cotton candy into the glass. For our holiday theme, we used Cherry and Green Apple Cotton Candy, but you could mix it up with any flavor or color combo you like!
Finally, pour your choice of 7UP TEN or Canada Dry TEN over the top. The cotton candy will dissolve and give the drink a great flavor and fun coloring!
Now, I know we’re being good here, but in the case one might want to jazz these up a bit, add a splash of elderflower liquor to the concoction! It’ll add a nice floral touch without being too overpowering the drink!
Are you hosting any holiday parties soon? What are your mocktail recipe ideas?
Cheers and Happy Holidays!
