I’ve done a lot of different series on these blogs over the years.  We did a Five on Fridays series, several different linkup parties, and a few different varieties of menu plans.  Most of them were for the birds, but I do really miss the menu planning.  Not only did I help y’all with cooking for your families, but it helped me plan too!

Some of the feedback that I had from the menu plans of the past were that the recipes were too complicated, took to long, had too many ingredients or were too fancy schmancy for those with young children.  Back then, I was all “Who doesn’t have time to cook dinner?”  And now, I’m all “Where’s that takeout menu?  These kids are asking to eat again.”

So it’s with you and me in mind that these menu plans will be more simple than those of the past.

They will be family friendly.  Sure, there will be salmon and brussels sprouts on the menu, but they’ll be presented in recipes that are familiar to most.

They will be easy.  Or at least easier.  Most recipes will use several components throughout various recipes during the week.  Cook once, eat twice is a big deal for me, saving time and money.

There will be pizza and macaroni and cheese.  My two weaknesses! 🙂

And most importantly, I hope for feedback!  Let me know what works for you, and what doesn’t.  Let me know what types of recipes you love.  And what you hate. But let me down gently, will ya?

Without further ado, here’s your menu for next week.  I’ll be presenting these on Wednesdays for now.  Figured it’ll give you a jump start on meal planning for weekend shoppers, or help fill in the gaps for those of you that are night-by-night folks.  If you want them on another day, just shout out!  I’m all ears.
