Rainy Day Spring Break Crafts

Rain, rain go away… or not!  Make the most out of your rainy day with this fun weather-themed craft! Read on for a fun Rainy Day Spring Break Craft and nutritious treat!

Ahh, spring break.  It holds so much promise.  Until it rains… the whole time.  The weather for the last few days has been the pits, so I’ve had to get a little creative when it comes to entertaining my three little monkeys.

We busted out paper and scissors, cotton balls and glue, and got our craft on.  To “celebrate” the weather, we made rainbow and rain clouds, and the kids had a blast putting them together.

To create these you’ll need just a few supplies, that you probably have on hand: construction paper, paper plates, cotton balls, glue and scissors.

First the kids will cut the paper plates in half.  Then, they’ll cut out strips of paper for the rain or rainbow.

The strips can be taped or glued onto the back of the plate.

Next, the kids had a blast drizzling the glue on the front of the paper plate and layering cotton balls.

As I said, not super-crafty, but creating two of these bad boys each killed an entire hour of a rainy morning, which in my book was priceless.

The kids were so diligent at their crafty task that I figured a nutritious treat was in order.  When I pulled out the TruMoo, their faces LIT up!

Why do I chose DairyPure brand milk and TruMoo?  Both contain no artificial growth hormones* and come from your local dairy, making them the perfect pair for your children’s diets!

DairyPure brand milk is the only brand of milk backed by the exclusive 5-Point Purity Promise, with no or artificial growth hormones.  And, TruMoo has No artificial growth hormones*, no high fructose corn syrup and a delicious chocolate taste kids love.

Job well done kids.  Now I just gotta figure out how to entertain them for a few more rainy days!  At least I know they’ll be happy with their daily TruMoo “treat” and I’ll feel good knowing they’ll have DairyPure for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
