Looking for an easy no-bake dessert for your upcoming summer party or potluck? This No-Bake Whoppers Pie will be the star of the dessert table this season! A post from the popular #52WeeksofSweets series by Forks and Folly.
Over three months into the #52WeeksofSweets challenge, I’ve learned a lot. Mostly about myself. I started out thinking it would be a crash course in pastry. What it’s turned out to be is a master-list of easy desserts that are so easy even I can do it. The major takeaway for me – I’m just not that into fancy desserts. At least not making them myself. We’ll leave that to the professionals.
What am I into? This no-bake Whoppers Pie. I love-love-love the flavor of malted candies and milkshakes. And there’s no better way to serve Whoppers this summer than with this no-bake Whoppers Pie! With an easy no-bake Whoppers crust, a delicious malted chocolate filling, and a vanilla malted whipped cream topping… It’s rich, it’s sweet, and it’s not bad looking, either.
No-Bake Whoppers Pie
Add Whoppers candies to a food processor and pulse until you get fine crumbs.
Combine the candy crumbs with the melted butter in a medium bowl then pour into a 9″ spring form pan.
Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the pan. Refrigerate while you make the filling.
In a heavy bottomed medium pan, add the yolks, half and half, milk, sugar and 3 tablespoons of the malted milk powder. Whisk over low heat until thick, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add the chocolate and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Remove the pie shell and pour in the custard. Refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, whip the cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of malted milk powder until you get stiff peaks.
Spread over top of the pie and top with whole and crumbled Whoppers.

I followed this recipe yesterday. Today all I have is a pie crust full of liquid.
oh no! I can’t say I’ve ever had leftovers when I’ve made this one. 🙂 Try freezing leftovers in slices and thawing 15 minutes before enjoying. Hope that helps!
