How to do the Tim Tam Slam: #52WeeksofSweets, Week 33

Tim Tam are available in both Tim Tam Classic Dark and Tim Tam Original. This Tim Tam Slam® post has been compensated by Pepperidge Farm. All opinions are mine alone.

It’s time to do the Tim Tam Slam®!  Featuring Tim Tam biscuits from down under and our favorite beverages. You’ll quickly discover why the Tim Tam Slam is one of the hottest food trends.

It’s been years since I was first introduced to the Tim Tam biscuit.  Having several friends from Australia, these were brought out for moms to enjoy at playdates after kids went upstairs to play.  Back then, Tim Tam biscuits were hard to come by; my friends would have family bring them from Australia when they came to visit.

Obviously, we weren’t sharing with the kids.

Tim Tam biscuits, which hail from down under, have a chocolaty outside, crunchy creamy inside, and are delicious all over.  Tim Tam are available in both Tim Tam Classic Dark and Tim Tam Original.  I’m delighted that Tim Tam is now at my local Publix!  With them being readily available, I’m even amenable to sharing them with my children…. sometimes.

Tim Tam can be enjoyed as is.  And often, that is my preferred method.  But when I feel like turning my everyday treat into an experience, I celebrate with the Tim Tam Slam.

Tim Tam Slam How To:

{Thank you Hubby Harding for allowing me to use you as a Tim Tam Slam model.  There’s never been a more handsome one. I’d say the check is in the mail, but I think you know better!}

Bite the Tim Tam at both ends of the biscuit.

Next, use it as a straw in a hot beverage! Feel free to practice a few times to get the move down. 😉

Then, put the whole biscuit in your mouth for an unbelievably delightful, chocolaty experience.

The proper way to do the Tim Tam Slam is with hot coffee or cocoa.  And usually, I’m a “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” kind of gal.  But when other combinations can be so delicious, why not experiment?!

So, I’ve come up with few other methods to enjoy the Tim Tam Slam!

Tim Tam Slam with a hot chai latte!  The spice of the chai pairs phenomenally well with the chocolaty Tim Tam!

{For Kids} Tim Tam Slam with cold milk!  My boys love to do the Tim Tam Slam with a tall glass o’ milk.  I bet Santa might enjoy this treat too!

{For Adults} White Russian Tim Tam Slam! I particularly enjoy the White Russian Tim Tam Slam.  Shocking, I know. To make this delicious treat, add vodka and coffee liqueur in equal portions. Top with cream or milk and add a few cubes of ice.  Proceed to do the Tim Tam Slam.  You’re welcome.

Y’all, if you haven’t tried a Tim Tam biscuit yet, I hope I’ve convinced you.  And when you take advantage of the 2 for $5 deal at Publix, go ahead and feel free to drop off any extras at my house. (Offer valid 12/23 – 1/5)  We’ll have no problem putting them to good use!

How will you be doing the Tim Tam Slam?
