Spicy Beer Battered Fish Burger
Cook the fish fillets according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk tartar sauce, lime juice, apple cider vinegar and salt until smooth. Stir in coleslaw and jalapeños.
Bring a large skillet or griddle to medium high heat. In a small bowl mix together melted butter and hot sauce. Brush mixture on the surface of each bun and lay butter-side down on the griddle. Cook until golden.
Layer each bun with lettuce or spinach, fish fillets, slaw and more hot sauce if desired. Be sure to have a cold brew within reach to cool your palette down!

- 8 Gorton's Beer Battered Crispy Fillets
- 4 sandwich buns
- 2 cups shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix (without dressing)
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/3 cup tartar sauce
- 2 Tb. lime juice
- 1 Tb. apple cider vinegar
- salt to taste
- 2 Tb. melted butter
- 1 tsp. hot sauce, adjusted to taste
