Team Colored Cocktail Pouches and More Football Viewing Party Tips

This post has been sponsored by The Coca-Cola® Company and SheSpeaks. (Msg for 21+)

Team colored cocktail pouches and other tips to turn “watching the game” into a full-on football viewing party!

Team Colored Cocktail Pouches

Going to a football game with a family of six is virtually impossible.  The cost of tickets and food, not to mention worrying about parking and the weather… yeah, no thanks.  We’ll party at home!  Watching the game at home has some serious advantages.  Not only can you avoid the line for the ladies room, you also get to pick the menu.  Because, if I’m being honest, the game is fun and all, but the food and drink is what makes it an event.

Tips for the Perfect Football Viewing Party

Make Shopping Easy: We usually invite a crew to join us for football games, so shopping at Sam’s Club for the supplies is a must.  With Club Pickup and Scan & Go, shopping is a breeze.  With Club Pickup, you can order online and Sam’s Club will have everything ready for you. This is a great option when purchasing heavier items, like Coca-Cola® beverages (and everything else I order at Sam’s Club)!  But, if you’re like me, and you’ve got a last minute pre-game trip to the store to make, make use of Sam’s Club Scan & Go!  Scan items as you shop, pay from your phone (via the app) and skip the checkout line in club with this time-saving feature.

Keep the Food Simple: Go all out with one thing – for me that’s the drinks.  Rely on your guests to bring potluck dips and snacks, pick up some prepared platters from Sam’s Club, or plan on having everyone pitch in and order pizza for half-time.

Avoid Doing Dishes:  The last thing I want to do during the game (or even worse… after!) is the dishes.  No. Thank. You.  Pick up Member’s Mark Paper Products during your Sam’s Club run.  Stocking up on Members Mark Heavy Duty Party Cups and Ultra Paper Plates will ensure you have the supplies you need all season long.

Set up Multiple Coolers: Have coolers stocked with ice ready for when your guests arrive.  This keeps your guests from raiding the fridge, and makes it easy for guests to find the drink they want.  I usually have one cooler dedicated to non-alcoholic drinks like Coca-Cola®, Sprite®, Powerade®, and vitaminwater®.  Another cooler is at the ready for beer and cocktails, like our Team Color Cocktail Pouches.

Rock the Beverages: I’m super into cocktails in a pouch.  And apparently, I’m not the only one.  They’re popping up on trendy cocktail menus everywhere.  To bring some fun to each game this season, I’ll be making Team Color Cocktail Pouches – to pair with the teams in each game.

RED: Campari & Sprite®: Add one part Campari to two parts Sprite.  Add a drop of red food coloring gel and mix.

TEAL: Blue Champagne Cocktail: Add one part blue curação, one part pineapple juice to five parts champagne.  Mix and serve.

BLACK/BROWN: Rum & Cola     : Add one part rum to two parts Coca-Cola®.  Add black food gel coloring for a darker hue.

Be the “Host with the Most” with Coca-Cola® products from Sam’s Club for all of your entertaining needs during the fall football season!

PRO-TIP: If you’re keeping your shindig, alcohol free, you can find most team colors by using a combo of Coca-Cola®, Sprite®, Powerade®, and vitaminwater®!
