Bacon Candy!

Bacon Candy!

Just in time for the weekend! If I were you, I’d let the hubbie smell it fresh out the oven, then make him promise to accomplish a few items from the “honey-do” list before sampling! Thank you, thank you, thank you Bon Apetit for this recipe!

Brown-Sugar-Glazed Bacon
Ingredients:

  • 1 pound applewood-smoked bacon slices or thick-cut bacon slices
  • 1/3 cup (packed) golden brown sugar

Directions: Position 1 rack in top third of oven and preheat to 400°F. Line large rimmed baking sheet with foil (VERY IMPORTANT!). Place large rack on lined baking sheet. Arrange bacon slices in single layer on rack. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over. Bake until bacon is crisp and glazed, 15 to 18 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and serve.
