Spring cleaning has forced be back into the deep recesses of my attic, where I was re-introduced to my maternity wardrobe – a vast collection of elastic waistband pants, tie-back shirts, and balloon shaped dresses. But one thing I had forgotten about, that I cherished during pregnancy and postpartum, was the fabulous Bella Band. It stretches, it smooths, it’s amazing. During pregnancy, you stretch the fabric over unbuttoned jeans and it allows you to wear your normal pants through a good portion of your pregnancy. It can even help cover up your protruding belly button (if that’s something you worry about). Postpartum, it helps ease you back into your regular wardrobe, smooths out the belly, and most importantly gets you into your favorite jeans a little earlier than you had expected.
Bella Bands range in price between $20 and $30. I like the variety of colors and styles of the brand. But, they also carry a knock-off brand at Target. Did I mention I love Target?
