If you’d like to get in on the savings, you don’t need to do much.
– First, subscribe to the weekend edition of the Charlotte Observer if you don’t already. It’s very inexpensive (the coupons more than make up for the cost), or pick up a Sunday paper. Find the booklet of coupons and start clipping for items that you would normally purchase. It doesn’t help you save money if you get enticed by something you wouldn’t ordinarily buy.
– Second, check into a few websites to print additional coupons. The ones I like are: www.coupons.com, http://smartsource.com, and www.redplum.com/coupons. You will have to install the websites’ coupon printer software in order to print them off.
– Finally, organize them in an accordion style file system. You can get one of these at an office supply store or at (you guessed it)… Target.
Happy Savings! Oh, and P.S. – Harris Teeter always doubles coupons up to 99 cents. (Unless it says on the coupon, “do not double.” Boo to whoever came up with that idea.)
Speaking of Target, you can use one manufacturer’s coupon and one Target coupon per transaction. Just thought I’d throw that out there 🙂
