What’s Trending at the Harding House, September Edition

Have you been to Smashburger yet? I have… probably more than I should admit to. I love, love, love the Spicy Baja Burger (with the black bean patty substituted for the beef). Don’t forget to add an order of the sweet potato fries. These are not your average spuds. And no, I will not share them with you, so don’t ask. Located in Stonecrest Shopping Center off of Rea Rd.

Hurray for TV! I’m enjoying my daily dose of pop culture while cranking out a session on the elliptical. Good thing, I ‘spose if you just read about my burger and fries situation. I’m falling for a few new shows and looking forward to reuniting with some old friends. What’s on the list? New this season: Revenge, Playboy Club, Grimm and Pan Am. Old faves: Modern Family, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, and Breaking Bad. Guess I better get to working out.

It’s that Citipass time of year! If you have a 2011 edition, time to start using your coupons. They expire on November 30th. If you don’t have a 2012 version, get on it! Most schools sell them or you can order one directly from the site. Citipass books offer discounts (generally buy one get one deals) on great area restaurants and businesses. Some of my favorite merchants with offers include Brixx Pizza, Cantina 1511, Earth Fare, Lazy 5 Ranch, Moe’s, Le Peep and SAS Cupcakes just to name a few!
If you’ve got a baby in the house, you’ve gotta get yourself the soft-tipped baby spoons. I spent months trying to get Graham to eat solid (baby) foods, and then realized it wasn’t eating he didn’t like. It was the spoons I was using. Now that I’m in the “know” with the second babe, feedings started much earlier, and he’s a much happier (and sleepier) baby for it. I’ve found them at Target in both the Nuk and Gerber brands.

What’s happenin’ in your household?
