eShakti Dress Giveaway!

I’m a lucky lady.  Last night I got an opportunity to take my husband, sister and brother-in-law out to a VIP Blogger Event at a new local restaurant.  We had a blast.  It was also fun to get a little dressed up.  I usually have a really hard time trying to figure out what to wear for date-night.  In my closet, there are pretty slim pickings if the attire can’t be worn on a playground.  Can you relate?

eShakti Sea Biscuit Shirtdress, $69.95

This time, however, I knew exactly what I was going to wear.  This lil’ number.  Cute, huh?  Yep, I thought so.  But you never know what others will think.  I was curious, as this was a dress I had been given an opportunity to review on behalf of eShakti, but didn’t say anything to the hubs.  When he came in, this is what he said.  Word for word.  “I like your dress.  It’s traditional.”

Ok.  Not exactly what I was hoping for, but he did notice that I was wearing something new.  When I grilled him on the “traditional” addition, he said traditional in a good way.  In a “work” way.  Hmmmm.

So, later when we stopped for a pre-dinner drink, our very hip-vintagey-way-cooler-than-me bartender came around from the bar to get a closer peek at my dress. “I love!!!! Where did you get that great dress?”  Much better.

Last stop for dinner.  Late in the evening, my sister simply mentioned, “I like your dress.”  Made me smile.  Three unsolicited positive comments on my outfit of choice within three hours.  It was unexpected,  and it gave me warm-fuzzies.

Want some warm-fuzzies too?  I’ve got a FREE dress from eShakti.com for a lucky Mom Favorites reader.  They have an awesome collection of affordable dresses, for sizes 0 – 36W.  Even better, they customize the dress to fit you: from length to neckline.  The winner of the giveaway will be able to pick ANY dress from the website that is listed for $75 or less (which is most of their collection).   Can’t wait until the winner, is announced? No biggie… Now through March 20th all items are buy one, get the second 1/2 off.  Woo hoo!
